My GGrandma Anna Serena Peterson Is buried At Grace lawn next to her son Henry. although I could not find any record of this on line. Anna had a daughter Named Alma who married Hans Christensen in MN they moved to Flint. Alma and Hans had I believe 6 boys and 1 girl. 1: Johnny Christensen married Mildred had 3 children Leslie(boy) and Shirley and Carol. Johnny died at 40
2: Leonard(sp) married Rosemary. 2 children David and Patty
3:Fordyce married Marg 3 children Kenny and 2 girls
4:Vernon had twin girls
5:Arthur was killed in 1933 in a motorcycle accident (never married)
6:Bert married Clarice had 9 children 5 girls and 4 boys.
some of them were Lars, Hans, Sven and one of the girls was called Cookie.
and finally the only girl born to Alma and Hans was Ruby.
7:Ruby married a Mcgee. I don't know how many childern she had but she had a son Michael. Last I knew they were in CA.
I think the rest stuck around Flint.
If anyone has info on any of the above I would greatly appreciate it. there has to be some decsendents still around the flint area.

Hi my name is Megan Christensen. Alma was my great grandmother, and Anna my great, great grandmother. I would love to know more about them both. My grandfather Berton (Alma and Han's son) was born in Williams Minn. 1912. He had an older brtoher named John, and younger siblings in order Arthur, Leonard, Fordyce, Robert and Ruby( the only child born in Flint MI). Hans was born in Grant MI and farmed there untill he ran off to fight in the Spanish/American war. When he returend from war he had moved to Williams Minn. Hans and Alma lost their family farm to back taxes in WilliamsMinn. about 1926 for $430. This is when they packed up and moved to Flint. When they arrived they lived in a boarding room with Anna. Hans helped built Central High School in Flint. Then moved to a house on Birkley St. and was employed by GM. My grandfather Burton during the depression was in the CCC planting trees near Newberry MI. When he returned he was also employed by GM. He was involved in the Great Sit down strike of 1936-37. He later started a special day called White shirt day in 1947 celebrated on feb 11 (anniversity of end of strike). YOu can research this more on the UAW local 598 webpage or UAW region 1C webpage. There is now a memorial located in Flint of the strike. on March 29 1938 Hans T. died of a ruptured appendix, and on July 6 1939 Alma P. died of pneumonia. Oct 29 1939 Berton married Clarice P. Maidment from Flint. The had nine children: Hans, Karla, Nels (my father they call Pete), Kirsten (called Cookie), Krista, Dane, Lars, Sten, and Andrea. They live on Wollcott St. untill the alte 90s. My father (Nels Peter...Pete) was borned 1947. After Nels graduated in 1965 he strated work in Fisher Body #2 plant with his father Berton. In the summer of 1966 Nels was drafted for the Vietnam war. He was stationed Germany as a fire direction control man for artillery battery. He returend to Flint in 1968, and married my mother Vicki L. Peacock in 1969. My sister Heather R. was born in 1973 and myself Megan L. in 1979. Berton passed away in the winter of 1992. Heather had just recently married in summer of 2000.

I will have to do more research on this family to see if they are connected. However, there is a complete family tree to the family to which you mention at http://wc.rootsweb.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?op=GET&d....
It is quite complete and has some valuable information.
I think my Christensen family is really Chrstenson!
