Surnames: Luesing, Lessing, Walker
My grandfather's father was Andrew Luesing, b 1843 Holstein Germany, Married Sophia (or Sofie) Pamperien. Andrew and his Brother Henry owned farms near Levering (on what is now called Luesing Road). See http://home.earthlink.net/~kori42/
I am trying to find who their parents were and where they came from. I am also getting confused as there was a Luesing family in Ontario which may be related. There are also several Luesings still living in the Emmet area and I am trying to find out if or how we would be related.
