I'm looking for any information on a Kallie P. Carr(married name), she was my greatgrandmother, married to a Fred R. Davis who was my greatgrandfather. Looking for any information on Fred R. Davis and family too. My grandmother, their daughter was born in Cross Village, Readmond Township in 1914, her name was Hilda Irene(or Agnes) Davis at birth, but was adopted to a couple with the last name of Meiers. There were six sisters and one brother almost all of whom were adopted out to others. Sisters names: Clara (McMullen), Alice (Cetas), Laura (Hahn), Helen (Lughibihl), Mary Adeline (Burrows), and Frances (Kaman), last names as of 1973 when Hilda Elsner died. Brother was William Carr said to be of Shingleton in 1973. Kallie married a (William) Carr after she and my ggrandfather parted. My mother, Joanne Elsner, who was Hilda's child has told me that most of the sisters and Kallie resided in the Emmet County area for most of their lives occasionally visiting Luce/Mackinac County namely Rapinville where my mother and family lived.
