Erma Rose (LUEBKE) BRICKER GRAMS, 74

Erma Rose (LUEBKE) BRICKER GRAMS, 74, of Boyne Falls, died Sunday, June 25, 2000.

Visitation and funeral service will be held Tuesday, June 27, at Stone Funeral Home in Petoskey. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m.-1 p.m., followed by the service at 1 p.m. The Rev. David Behling will officiate, and burial will take place in Greenwood Cemetery, Petoskey.

Erma was born Jan. 27, 1926, in Petoskey, the daughter of Herman and Rose (MEYERS) LUEBKE.

In 1945, she married William H. BRICKER, and in 1966 she married Oliver M. GRAMS.

Survivors include her children, Linda (BRICKER) TODD of Owensboro, Ky., William G. BRICKER (Nora) of Boyne Falls, Cheryl (BRICKER) RACIGNOL (Gerald) of Petoskey, and Robert GRAMS (Dorrina) of Boyne City. She was a dear grandmother of 14 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Erma is also survived by many stepchildren, stepgrandchildren and stepgreat-grandchildren; her sisters, Doris SWADLING of Conway, Katherine WAUGH of Florida, Patricia ALBRIGHT of Oklahoma, and Carole HAAS of Petoskey; one brother, Donald LUEBKE, of Petoskey; and many nieces and nephews.

Erma was preceded in death by her husband, Oliver M. GRAMS, in 1967; and her sister, Mary FETTIG, in 1999.

She was a member of the Petoskey Eagles Auxiliary 2462 and the V.F.W. Auxiliary No. 3765 in Boyne City.

Erma loved to crochet, enjoyed bingo and loved to go to garage sales. Many of us have beautiful memories of her gifted talent to make wonderful crochet crafts. She loved to sit and play a card or board game and loved holiday gatherings. Erma had many dear friends near and far, and she was Grandma to many more than her own. She will be missed by them all.

Memorial contributions may be directed to Erma’s family.
