I have been doing a bit of research on the Sutherland family of Eaton County, Michigan because by marriages they connect to my Moss/Dean marriages, families out of Canada to Michigan. But after some new information that has come my way, I now have no parents for a Forrest L or S. Sutherland, found only on 1930 census in California.

I do know he was a grandson of Joseph Kitchen Moss, but because both of Joseph's daughters married a Sutherland, I do know know which Sutherland was the Father: Edson or Orville?
Forrest is found in 1930 census with a wife Rose... he is 28, she is 20. I have not found him on any earlier census with his parents.
He also does not show up on the SSDI.

Can anyone give me his parents names, etc?
