Mr. and Mrs. Court Wollpert of Route 2, Grand Ledge, celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary August 16th. A dinner was held Saturday at the American Legion Hall in Charlotte. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Wilkes, Mr. and Mrs. Ivon Leslie and Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Wollpert hosted the party. Nine grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren were present. Alice May Bower and children, great-niece of the couple, was present for the party from Joliet, Illinois. Mr. and Mrs. Wollpert were married in Charlotte in 1903. They have lived on the same farm on Mt. Hope highway for about 30 years.
