I am looking for information on Mary Louisa Beckstrom, married to Alfred Johnson. Both Mary and Alfred were born in Sweden. Mary immigrated in 1886 and we're not sure when Alfred immigrated. They had one child, Agnes Johnson in November 184. Mary was listed as a seamstress in the 1910 census and my grandmother said she moved into a small house in their backyard in Iron Mountain toward the end of her life. Agnes married Edwin Peterson of Iron Mountain and the couple had 2 children, Harold in 1914 and Irene in 1918.

I am looking for any information on the death of Alfred Johnson. He died between 1894 and 1900. Even a more specific date would help greatly.

I am also looking for any obituary or death information about Mary. My grandmother thinks she died in 1925 or 1926.

I don't know if Mary had any relatives in the area or if she immigrated alone from Sweden. If anyone knows of any other Beckstroms in the area that she was related to please let me know as well!
