Cassopolis, Mich. George Cecil LAWRENCE, 78, of 18345 Chapel Hill Road, died at 10:25 a.m. Saturday (Oct. 21, 1995) at his home after an illness. He was born Sept. 29, 1917, in Wabash. He married the former Mildred M. OSBORN on Nov. 22, 1978, in Mason Township of Cass County. She survives with three sons, Gary of Albuquerque, N.M., Stanley of Wabash and Steven of Yorktown; one daughter, Sandra CRAFT of Cincinnati, Ohio, one step-daughter, Donna NORRIS of Elkhart; 13 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; three sisters, Janet MILLER of Wabash, Betty MC KEE of Marion and Gloria ALLEN of Wabash. Friend(s) may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Paul E. Mayhew Funeral Home in Edwardsburg and one hour prior to 3 p.m. services Wednesday at Edwardsburg United Pentecostal Church. The Rev. Robert Geans, pastor of the church, will officiate. Burial will be in East Union Cemetery, Union. Mr. LAWRENCE retired about 14 years ago as foreman of manintenace for Miles.
