I am looking for people connected to the following couple who lived in Marshall MI:

Helen Mar Nichols (b 1827, d. 14 Feb., 1858) married on 17 Aug., 1848 Amos VanValin (d. 2 Feb., 1885).

Helen's sister Lucinda Jane Nichols (b abt. 1820, d 29 Mar., 1882, m. 1841 to George W. Knox and in 1859 to Jacob T Root) also lived in Marshall. Their mother, Rhoda Smith Nichols lived with Lucinda Jane after their father, Harry Nichols, died in 1846.

I am related to both the Nichols line and the VanValin line and would like to discover more about their children or Amos VanValin's ancestry.
