Death of Mrs. Ida Tubbs Church came as a shock to the many friends who were not aware that her condition was serious.

Mrs. Church, wife of Charles R. Church, who has been in the Jewelry and optical business in Homer, has lived a modern and social life for a great number of years in Homer which had gained her a wide acquaintance and family friends.

She was born in Lockport, N. Y., in 1861 and was in her 66th, year. Was married to Charles R. Church and to this union one daughter was born and is now Mrs. O. J. Laughrey of Union City.

Mrs. Church was a member of the Order of Eastern Star of Homer.

Funeral services were held from her late home on Webster street Monday at 2 P. M. rev. M. J. Weaver, officiated. Burial in Fairview cemetery.
