Wow, This is great informtion. My Father Patrick Lee Turner's aunt was Evelyn. But If I'm correct she went by Lucille. My dads mother (step mother was) Elise I. Snider Turner. What I do know about Lucille is that she had two sons. I was talking to my father the other day about the Snider family. I forgot their names. But one of the sons killed a man (black man) because he was walking with Lucille. I believe the man Lucille married was a doctor. My dads aunt Elise (Lucille sister adopted my dad. His mother was Hattie Lorraine Snider. Anyways Just a little somthing about the family. I'm curently resheaching my mothers side but have found a lot on my dads side (Snider family). Please do keep in touch. Any information on Lucille's sons will be great or even the Snider family.

I just replied to one of your other postings, but thought I might step in here, too. I was struck by your comment that one of Lucille's sons killed a black man. I wonder if the story got a little twisted. Fact is, Lucille's second husband, Avery (or Every) Davis, was a black man. And a note written by her mother, Pearl, says her first husband, Russell Sinclair, "got shot in his leg Oct. 25, 1930. Was taken to hospital at Owosso." No explanation as to how he got shot. And no indication that Avery, whom Lucille married later, was ever shot. Makes you wonder, who shot whom?

That is interesting. All I could tell you is that.. One of Lucille's sons saw her and a "black man" walking down the street and the son did not like what he saw. I believe this happen in the 1950's. I can be wrong. Anyways thank you.
