Hallo,

My name is Marek Niegrzybowski, I'm from Poland. I think, that Edward Niegrzybowski was brother or uncle of my grandfather - Zygmunt Niegrzybowski.
My grandfather (Zygmunt) was born in 1918 in Dziekanowek (close to Warsaw), and his parents - Stanislaw and Zofia were born in Palmiry (also close to Warsaw).

Please send me some information about Edward if You have, because the only information I found was that he get married with Julia Wagner in 1907. His parents were Frank and Katherine. Katherine was also mother of my grandfather - Zygmunt Niegrzybowski. Only my grandfather's father was not Frank, but Jakub.

Regards,
Marek

Michigan Death Records, 1921-1952

In response to a recent inquiry to the Family History Library in Salt Lake City, I received the message below. It helps to explain the situation with the images for the Michigan Death Records, 1921-1952. We might not see them for a while. But just the index has already helped me solve some research mysteries.

Joseph Martin
Romeoville, Ilinois

Whenever possible, FamilySearch makes images available for all users. However, ultimate rights to view images on our website are granted by the record custodians. The collection entitled Michigan, Death Certificates, 1921-1952 rules prohibit the viewing of the death certificates less than 75 years old. If any record on a digital folder contains certificates from the last 75 years, for example, the entire digital folder is restricted.

The Historical Records collections will be updated each year to show new unrestricted records.

My gg-grandmother's name was Bertha Elva Houser. She was living in Cass County, Michigan with her parents in the 1880 census. Her family (parents: Lawrence & Elizabeth Williams Houser)and the Fike family(Charles Sr & Lucy Fike) were living in Cass County, Michigan in the same census (both families are on the same page of this census). Bertha and Charles had a daughter, Adah Mae Fike (b. April 29, 1891; d. April 1, 1945). Bertha was very young when she gave birth to Adah (about 15 years old). Bertha ended up with her brother in Cooper County, Missouri but I have no idea what happened to Charles at this point....and this is the mystery I try to solve. :)

Thanks for the information.....the mystery of my gg-grandfather continues. This could have been his first marriage. I have information indicating that Charles and my gg-grandmother, Bertha Houser were not married but had a child (Adah Mae Fike - my great grandmother). God Bless!!
Marcyanna Paluszek, born in 1855, died 13 Jul 1923 has parents, Kazmierz Paluszek, b.1820 and mother Lucia Szurdyk, b.1822, d. 1901. I found this info on the LDS site.
Hi. My grandfather, John, lived right next door to my home on Raymond Street in Bay City. He worked at Keit's greenhouse on Euclid. The homestead was on Euclid Ave. Uncle Jake is younger than my grandfather. They are buried next to each other in St. Stan's cemetery. I would love to have a copy of Frank's accident report from the Bay City Times. I would love to share family info. Please email me at reisopcr@chartermi.net What is the root beer mug?

Carol

I am looking for the husband's first name and dates of AMANDA JOHNSON who lived in Bay City in 1895. She was born in Kosciusko County, Indiana, in 1845 to JACOB MOCK and MARGARET KELTNER. She had been previously married in 1867 in Kosciusko County to SAMUEL STIFFLER, whose last name is sometimes written as STIEFFLER, STEPLER, STEFLER, STIFLER. I have her later married name JOHNSON, from an account of a reunion with her brothers in 1895.
