Hi Marsha,
I called the Court House and spoke with a sub at the receptionist's desk. She checked the wall plaque and Wm. Hendrick served from 1881-1884.
She suggested the local library and that name is Linda Cooley, Librarian and phone number is 906-524-6213 and the next place would be The L'Anse Sentinel, our weekly newspaper. That phone number is 906-524-6194 and email is sentinel@up.net and their website is http://www.lansesentinel.com/
