not sure if i read your note right, she got married in 1888 or was born in 1888? If married in 1888 then when she was born it would have been in Houghton County, Baraga became a county in 1875. It had been a part of Houghton County until that time and all records would be in the Houghton County courthouse. If she was born in 1888 then it may be in Baraga -- I will check just to be on the safe side and let you know if i have luck, if you do not hear from me by July 2 know that she is not recorded in the Baraga County birth records

regarding the Allie family. I think they may be related to the Foshey family (faushie) from the Detroit area. There was a Joseph and a Peter. My grandmother was their sister -- her name was Virginia. There was a mention of a Pat and Mary Allie and boys but that is all I have.
