A Fredrich was my great grandmother's brother, however is birth date is estimatedas 1873 and not your date On the Hamburg Passenger Lists his name is spelled Fredrich Behling. He left Germany April of 1882 arriving in NYC in May with parents and my grandmother listed as Ulrike but she was called Riky and a younger brother Emil. Both of whom are buried in the Alverton cemetary...Alverton (Stoners) is extremely small so I suspect this is your family although I can not be sure. Mary their mother is called Maria and William , of course, is Wilhem. I know a little more about the family if you are interested. Residence: Zerlin, Preuben (Prussia) and I am guessing Zerlin is Berlin ?

Good Evening
My name is Charles D. Greene and I am looking for information on a woman named Mary Todd or Children of Mary Todd. My father Charles Kenneth Greene left our family in 1950. I have all of the information on my father. A woman identifying herself as Mary Todd in the 1960's called our home in Southgate Michigan asking for the wherabouts of my father as she wanted to sue him for child support. That is all the information I have on Mary Todd. If anyone knows the wherabouts of Mary Todd or any of her children I would like to contact them. You can use my personal e-mail if you wish. acso585@pacbell.net
Thank You
Ok, I read the post and left a message asking if they had a Vera L. who married a Stanley Hare. Figured it didn't hurt to try.
I sat here last night, or rather early this morning trying to browes that marriage ledger! Don't know if it was me not knowing how or my computer but after turning 100 or more pages I gave up! I got more black pages then any page with a page of the book. I couldn't read pages of the book as writing way too small and when I used the zoom only parts of a page would show with no way I could see to move to top of the page & then to the bottom. I got frustrated and was tired so I finally went to bed about 3 a.m.!
Thank you for the latest 'hint', I'll see if I get any reply.

I had tried family search with no luck!
What 'part' / 'where' did you search?

Story from a cousin had it that Vera might have been married before. She married Stanley Hare and had a daughter when they got married, possible name of this daughter was Joyce. Cousin's memory was vague on that part. Cousin also thought this daughter had a child which Stanley & Vera adopted.
I just went back and looked at the 1930 census for the Robinson's and Vera is not listed with them.
She would have been about 22 years old and could already be married to 1st husband?

Joseph Robinson married Gladys B. Kent on Dec. 14, 1926. She died in 1932, and he married Flossie in 1935. It said Josephs parents were William Robinson and Fannie Goodchild.
This was from the Michigan County marriages at www.familysearch.org I didn't find a marriage for Vera, but it appears the index goes to 1935, and the actual marriages to 1953, and I didn't search all of them, you have to browse.
I found a possibility for your Vera Robinson. In the 1910 and 1920 census for Arenac County, there is a Vera L. Robinson, born 1907-1908 (on www.familysearch.org)
Parents - William and Francis Robinson
Brother, Joseph, born about 1906

Now, I got curious because on Vera's gravestone, which I saw at www.findagrave.com it says "sister". When you search that cemetery for Robinson, there is a Gladys Kent Robinson, born 1910
In the 1930 census for William and Francis Robinson, their son Joseph is living with them with his wife Gladys, born about 1911, and their daughter Lillian.
Does this sound like a match? Something to check further, anyway.

Charles Harrington d. 21 Dec 1900 (SeekingMichigan.org death certificate) and is buried in Linwood Cemetery with his wife Gertrude. Dates for Gertrude Maxfield Harrington are not known.

Would someone look for an obit for him / them? Is there an index of deaths. Looking for information on Charles mother, Zilpha Ormsby Harrington Maxfield. Zilpha apparently remarried after death of Isaac Harrington to Gertrude's father. Could Zilpha be buried with them?

Thanks.
