Looking for deaths, burials, and descendants of any Towns family in Arenac county.

On the Arenac, Michigan, USGenWeb site, I found burials in Cedar Valley cemetery of William Towns, d. 20 Sep 1910, age 56, his wife Carrie Morse Lee Towns, d. 22 Nov 1906, age 42.

William and Carrie had known children James (age 20 in 1910), Florence (age 17 in 1910), and Beatrice (age 10 in 1910) William is the son of James Towns and Electa Knapp who came from NY to Tuscola County, Michigan.

Wilson R Towns was born in Oct 1864 in Schroeppel, Oswego County, NY, to Calvin Towns and Susan D Wright.

The fathers of William and Wilson Towns are brothers.

Our goal is to document and share information on the descendants of Stephen and Fanny Towns through at least three generations. They were in NY, then in Canada working "in the big woods", returning to NY (Onondaga and Oswego counties) before coming to Denmark township, Tuscola County, Michigan.
