Hi Sue!
My name is Teresa and I'm the original poster of the thread you've been replying to on Ancestry (jaggededge_1). I looked through a bit of my info and I don't believe we've talked before. Harvey
Briggs Scott is my Great Great Grandfather. I have a picture of a
Pete Kile too, in what looks to be like a military uniform. I also have pics of Medora (as a child and an adult). Do you know what happened to her mother? I'm a little confused on that. In the 1860 Census Harvey is married to a Lydea Medora is 6mo old and
Rhoda Terry is living with them as a servant. They are living next door to Nathanial (46)and
Hannah Terry (36) and their 5 children. I can't find Harvey anywhere in the 1850 census, but I'm guessing they were in Canada at that time due to the fact that all of the Terry's are from Canada. I actually can only find one of the Scott kids in the 1850 Census, Amasa T Scott and he is in Canada. Anyway... I'm getting off topic lol. Harvey and Adeline's son Thomas
Washington is my Great Grandfather.
Do you live in or near
Antrim County? We've made a few trips up there. We went to one of the original Scott farms, Bruce and Pauline Scott's. Pauline is absolutely awesome! She let us in and gave us the grand tour and showed us lots of pictures. It touched my father so much he cried! We took one of his brothers up a few years later and he was the same way!
I see you are stuck on John Scott Sr. I have been stuck on John Jr. for about 3 years!! I have him b. Nov 1806 in either
New Hampshire or
New York and d. May 5, 1847 in St. Clair
Shores MI. I also have all of the
Frost info from a book I bought that goes wayyyyy back! Do you have their marriage date? Or his cause of death? An obituary? Anything??? lol. If you give me what you have on Sr. I might be able to help too, on Ancestry. I'm going to cc this to the thread incase Michele needs any of this info. Will be happy to share any info or pictures that I have, just let me know :-)
