My grandmother Gladys (Larson) Scholl married Daniel Scholl in Mancelona, in Antrim County and continue to live in the area once known as Wetzel. Daniel's grandparents were George and Catherine Makel. Daniel's parents were Martha (Makel) Scholl and Conrad Scholl. Therefore Matha Makel and Daniel Makel must be brother and sister.
