Hello, we are looking to complete a part of our family tree with the children of this couple. The last information I have is that they lived in Antrim County during the 1930 census and had one child at the time. I am showing a different source on Ancestry showing that they have at least 2 additional children but no names or birthdates. Any information that can be provided would be great! Thanks!

There is an obit for him filed at the Jordan Valley Distric Library in East Jordan.

I can't affirm that the staff will be willing to look for it. I can retrieve it and e-mail you with its contents but not before Sunday, March 29, at the earliest.

Wow thanks for the info! That would be fantastic if you could email me that obit as I am out of state and would not be able to do so. As far as the information about the deforest family, that would be great. I have been tasked with locating any long lost relatives from that family but I cannot find out who needs locating until I know where everyone came from. :-) Thanks again for the info!

Assume you are aware that both Gerald and Alice are buried in Southern Cemetery in Central Lake, MI??

My dad grew up in Central lake , Michigan. He will be 82 this year. Their neighbors were "Burns". I will ask him if he knows any of these people. I went to school thru third grade there and I know some Burns and Deforest people as well. i will try and find out some info for you.

Gerald R. was born 1904 and died 1958. Alice DeForest was born 1905 and died 1981. We may have their obits in the Bellaire Historical Society. do you want me to look them up?
