I have found an article in Port Huron paper that says "Mr W. Archibald will leave to Alpena to assist in locating a fog whistle in Thunder Bay" This is the last I hear of this family in Port Huron until they appear in Essex Ontario in 1881.
Does anyone in Alpena have access to info about how long the family stayed there?
