Holy Cross is a huge cemetery in Alpena, directly across the street from Evergreen Cemetery, which is the public and Protestant cemeteries. The sexton has an office building in the back of Holy Cross cemetery, and her telephone number is 989-354-3831. It would be great to call ahead and find out when the person would be there to give you directions, OR you could get directions from her over the telephone. The cemetery is very well arranged, and you should be able to find anyone in there you wish. There is also a book that has been published by the local NEMGS that shows all the entries in the cemetery, plus their locations, but the sexton can tell you where your gravesite is without charge.
