Hello Annette, I should call you cousin. I just heard from your Chuck last week for the first time. I am so excited about finding you both. My late husband was the son of Martha Caroline Langworthy who passed away in 1982. I was telling Chuck that I have Mrs. Graham's (her name from second marriage) wedding dress and a photo of her wedding party of her marriage to Shelly Logan Mount in 1938 or so. I want to give them to Chuck for safe keeping because I know they won't be of interest to my son or his daughters. The dress is very simple and the photo is wonderful.

I have recently come across the website of Hal Langworthy at homepages.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~hal/Langworthy/wc20/wc20_212.html and found many, many relatives of John Wm. Langworthy and Susan McPhee Langworthy. It was like Christmas. However, I found a son for them that I had never heard of. That, in itself, isn't unusual because I hadn't heard of three of the other sons either. But this one, Lawrence R. Langworthy b Mar 31, 1900 ALpena, Alpena Co. Michigan, would have been born before they were married some six months and a few days. They were married on Oct 9, 1900 in Alpena, Alpena Co. Michigan. Same place as Lawrence's birth. I just find that hard to believe. And this is the first time I have seen his name. Has anyone else heard this before? I can't find anything else about him. I'll email Hal and see where this info came from.
