Mr. Arend J. BOS, Otsego, MI, Passed away Monday, July 14, 1997, in Otsego. Mr. BOS was born June 23, 1909 in Kalamazoo, the son of John Arend and Barbara (DYKEHOUSE) BOS. He was employed at Upjohn, retiring in 1969. He was a member of the Allegan First Church of God. On March 14, 1952 in Kalamazoo, he married Roxie P. STOWELL. who survives. Also surviving are 5 children and their spouses, Roger and Norma BOS of Mears, Charlene and Larry LARGE of Hoffman, TX, Becky and Stan BOWLBY, Reva and Paul PEARSON and Marjorie MARTIN, all of Otsego; 1 son-in-law, Ron MCELWAIN of Mattawan; 16 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 1 brother and his wife, Andrew and Helen BOS of Bartow, FL; 2 sisters and their husbands, Alice and Harold WALMER and Irene and Robert STEARNS, all of Kalamazoo; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his first wife. Norma Jean MCELWAIN; 1 sister, Angeline EVANS; 1 brother, James BOS; and 1 brother-in-law, Lincoln GREEN Friends may meet with the family Wednesday from 2 -4 and 6 -8 at the Winkel Funeral Home Otsego. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at the Allegan First Church of God, Rev. Robin Riggs and Rev. Sheila Riggs officiating.
