Am trying to link in non UK branches to the Wilderspin tree (as we are all related in some way) and know that some of them ended up in Michigan, including Alger County (having been in Canada immediately after leaving the UK)

For example John and Carrie had William (married Nellie)and had at least 5 children (Leo, Elma, Erma,Isabelle and Margaret) according to 1900 census. Struggling to find info after 1900 so any advice on where to look etc would be really helpful.
