In 1920 there is a family:
Thomas Timberlin
wife Clara
Sons: John, Clyde, Emerson, Loyd.
I find no mention of them in Alcona in 1930. But in Wayne County Michigan in a Training School I find Clyde, Emerson and Helen Timberlin.
Can anyone do a search and tell me whether Thomas, Clara, John, & Loyd died between 1920 and 1930?
There is another John Timberlin in the area but he has different parents.

I'm not related to this family.

You must have a different set of census records as Thomas Timberlin does not appear on any US census.

The name must be misspelled!
