I am searching for BYE family members who may be related to my grandmother. Her maiden name was HITCHINGS. She was born in Texas in 1897, but left with her father in 1899 and raised in Indiana. If my research is correct, her aunt married into the Bye family and I've found that she may have had a cousin by the name of Fred BYE. I'm not sure which branch of the Byes you are researching, but when I saw the name Hodgson I decided to check it out. Let me know if you think there is a connection.
