HOLBROOK Margaret L. (Gilliam) Lynch of Holbrook, died August 106 after a brief illness at Brockton Hospital. She was 82. Margaret was born in Boston and worked at AT&T as a long-distance operator in Boston. She also worked for Tileston and Hollingsworth Paper Mill in Hyde Park with her sister Ruth. She finally retired as an Administrator at United Liquors. Beloved wife of the late Patrick J. Lynch. Loving mother of Barbara (Lynch) Donahue and Jack Lynch both of Holbrook. Grandmother of Michael Donahue and the late Sean Donahue. Sister of the late Frederick Gilliam, Ruth Wilson, and Dorothy Atwater. Sister-in-law of Ann Widinan of Quincy. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Margaret enjoyed life to the fullest and carried her great sense of humor throughout her life. At the age of 28, Patrick Lynch won her heart and they were wed, followed by two children and a wonderful family life. Her life was shared with family and her St. Joseph's bingo buddies and her companions at Ramblewood. Her friendly demeanor, quick wit, and kind manner will be remembered by all. Funeral Services will be held in the Hurley Funeral Home, 127 So. Franklin St. (Rt. 37) Holbrook Friday at 9:30 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Thursday 4 - 8 p.m. Interment Knollwood Memorial Park in Canton. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Margaret's memory to the 311 Arsenal St. Watertown, MA 02472.
