I need help finding the parents of Alexander M. Thatcher, born 1818. The earliest information I have for him is that he was a resident of Northampton, Mass., when he married Huldah Bishop of Tyringham on 14 Auu. 1844. From looking at Northampton records it looks like most residents either came from eastern Massachusetts or along the Connecticut River. Does anyone recognize his name?

Yes, that's the same couple. It is possible that he's the son of someone whose family hasn't been researched well yet. I wonder if all the Thatchers were Quaker.
