Classification: Query
If your ancestors settled in Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New York in the 1800s, and came from the Azores and Madeira, please contact me. I am planning a book about the Portuguese immigrants who settled on the East Coast. I have just completed a book about those who settled in Hawaii, which will be published both in the Portuguese and English language. My maiden name is Craveira (actually Craveiro), and many Craveiros are listed in the census of Massachusetts. Any and all info will be appreciated. Helen Craveira Tice.
