Looking for information on any of the branches of this family who came from Co. Galway, Ireland; settling first in Massachusetts (MA); moving to Wisconsin (WI) in the mid 1850's and from there dispersing all over the country. My great grandfather, Ned EGAN, married Bridget FINNERTY. They are found on the 1850 MA Census. In 1856, John Edward EGAN was born in Green Lake County, WI and married Margaret GUINAN in the same county in 1883.
