I would like to know how to get a baptism record. I was born in East Boston in 1933 and baptized in the Catholic church but don't know the name of the church. Any help will be appreciated.

I called the Boston Catholic Archives and spoke with Robert, the Archivist. He asked for the street my parents lived on at the time of my baptism. I luckily had that info as it was on the 1930 census. He called me back within 10 minutes with the name of the church and phone number. I then called Sacred Heart Parish in East Boston and gave them my information and had a copy of my baptism within a few days. Thanks again, I really appreciate.

I do believe it's Mount Carmel
corner of Cottage St and Grove, the Mc or Mac Donald elemetry school is across from it. Along with the rectory and school. it was one of the churchs that was to bel sold.
