I have found record of the marriage of two of my ancestors in 1754 and it has been confirmed in several places. I was wondering if anybody knows what types of information is on the certificate, or if it's just a ledger entry. I have found the record for the husband and wife and have the date, but am wondering specifically if I request a copy (if one exists) if it will include parental information, or other info. I received my information from a book of Boston Marriages 1700-1800.

Any info is greatly appreciated.

Also, if anybody knows HOW to request these, I would appreciate it too. Everything I have found online leads in circles!
