I am looking for information that might link Henry Adams to Samuel Adams (The brewer and the signer of the Dec. of Ind.) as brothers. I have the following information and I think they might be brothers, yet I do not know for sure.
*19th Generation: Henry Adams (8/16/1726 - 10/21/1785). He was born in Boston, but Died in Indiana County PA. 2nd Cousin to John Adams, second President of the US. My grandmother has him listed as a Revolutionary Solider. (Familysearch.com has the same dates, but listed him dying in Westmoreland, PA. Which sounds correct. But they have him married to himself in 1850. Only child listed is Robert).
*19th Generation: Samuel Adams Jr. (1722-1803) Married Elizabeth Checkly (D. 1757). (I think he is the brewer). Second Wife, Elizabeth Wells. Again, 2nd Cousin to John Adams, second President of the US. (Familysearch.com Has similar information. And a 3rd wife of Hannah Wells. The children surviving Children are Samuel and Hannah. Everything happened in Boston).
18th Generation: Samuel Adams Sr. (1689-1745). (Now for Familysearch.com, they have him listed as Samuel Jr's father, only child listed. And his wife was Mary Fifield. Born 5/7/1694, Died 5/8/1748, Married 4/21/1713. They also have Samuel Sr's death date as 3/8/1748. Same birth year and everything occurred in Boston).
