Surnames: Wiemert, Overlan, Vitt, Cunningham, Rodwell
Hi,
I happened upon your post regarding Anne Wiemert and the Overlans in the Boston area. We must be related. My father - William Rodwell - married Lillian Cunningham. Lillian (my Mother) was the daughter of Catherine (Vitt) Cunningham. Catherine's mother was an Overlan and most of this took place in Boston/Somerville/Medford.... although my Vitts and Overlans first met in NYC in the late 19th century.
We have stayed close to the Overlans over the years, and I remember my mother speaking of Anne Wiemert.
Does any of this ring a bell??
