I'm searching for ANY information relating to Francis Henry BUDD who is reported to have been born in Charlestown, Suffolk County, MA on or about May 31, 1836.

His parents were Wesley and Hannah Budd. I believe Wesley to be the son of Eli and Ann Carman Budd, both of New Jersey.

Hannah had a sister named Harriet who married David Thomson. I do not know thier maiden names for certain, but Dunkle has been passed-down through our family as a possibility.

Hannah and Wesley parted ways (or he died), and Francis went to live with David and Harriet Thomson, his aunt and uncle. They later adopted Francis, and he took the Thomson name.
