Thank you kindly. I have look at LDS's tapes and am thinking that I need to rent one which would cover 1776-1785. My ancestor, George Tirrell, was in the Abington militia in 1780 and in Philalphia's first Census 1790. So for some reason he moved. He is listed as a nailor in Phila with 5 free white males of 16 year and upwards. He married in the Third Presbyterian Church of Philalphia in 1789. So the other (4) males 16+ are not his children. I wanted to track his brothers: Amos, Joseph Shaw, Alexander, and Isaac.
I propably need a registered genealogist in the area.
