I asked him about that lately, and he said my mom kept that kind of stuff, certificates and things. When they divorced, he figures she might have gotten rid of old documents. All he knows is that he doesn't have them. She told me about her marriages a long time ago, when I was just a kid, but back then, I wasn't into genealogy, and her stories were of no interest to me. She wasn't much for keeping things. She never even took pictures. So, I guess my next venture will be to contact the Wakefield, MA town hall, or vital statistics office. Do you know if they'll give me that information seeing as my father is still alive?
