I got his death record free at
www.familysearch.org which gave no parents names. It only says he was a chauffeur born in Canada. I think I might have matched it to a marriage record (also free online) four months earlier where his parents are given as Peter & Lucie (Dyer- which is Doyon on Canadian records) The wife of Joseph on that marriage record was Lena Gagnon, born NH dau of Peter. Can you tell from the blurry article if this Joseph's wife was Lena?
I'm working on it to try and prove that he was Joseph F. Roy/King, born 1864 Canada to Pierre & Lucie (Doyon). He may have been married at least seven times (once in ME 1884 and six times in MA between 1899-1911) I have all six MA marriage records where Joseph King is listed as a chauffeur or coachman on every record. He gives different parent names on several records, but the mother is always given as Dyer. There are clues on every record that point to the same Joseph even though he gives ages that range from 1861-1872 birthdates. It's been a difficult case to unravel.
