Old newspaper clippings for Western MA 1800's - 1950's

My great aunt taught school in Westfield for 50 years and lived there until she died at 100 years. I have two books full of clippings of marriages, deaths and events that took place in and arround Westfield, Russell, Springfield, etc. Here are a few of the last names: Bronson, Searle, Plumb, Fox, LaFond, Gibbs, Cooley, Tucker, Palmer, Holcomb, Parks, Hitchcock, Wager, Snow Carter, Lewis, Lincoln, Belding Snow, Clark, Moore, Cushing, Copeland, Sheldon, Avery,Greene, Dayton, Riley, Chapman, Kelso, Castro, Herrick and many more. If you would like for me to check for a name you are rsearching please let me know.

Thank you for the offer to research. My mothers family came from Westfield. What information do you need for you to look up information.
I would be interested in any information you have on the Moore, Sheehan, Mahoney or Donahue. All of these families are from the Westfield or Springfield area.

Hi Dan: I to have family that grew us in Western MA, mostly Westfield, Huntington & Russell, etc. It was my grandmothers family that was born & raised there.

This is whqt I found for you: I found information on Moore, hope it helps:

Lyman B. Moore d. 4/3/1916 of pueumonia at age 77
Buried in Forestdale Cemetery.
His was born in Montgomery and went to Northampton schools & Williston Seminary.
Moved to Gouverneur, NY until 1869 then moved to Holyoke and was in the meat business.
Married Keren Bates of Westfield in 1863
"Children: Louis L. who traveled for the American Thread Co. and Mable L.
Sister: Mrs O.A. Moore of Holyoke and Mrs. C.C. Lyman of Chicopee Falls

Mrs. Elbertine Clark Moore d. 1/23/1910 at age 64; residence Norwich Bridge; b. 9/15/1845 in Montgomery
buired: Norwich Bridge Cemetery.
Husband: Ocenus E. Moore married 5/25/1873 in Huntington.
Parents: Elisha Clark & Evelyn Allyn
Daugher: Agnes E. Clark
Brother: Ranson E. Clark - Montgomery

If any of these are yours:
I have more information on the Bates line (it is part of mine)
and another clippling on a Harriett Lyman which could be a sister-in-law. b. 3/27/1838 d. 12/1918

Sorry Bill, I haven't found any clipplings with the names you requested. I have made a note of them and as I continue to read the clippings I will look. Some of the obits were very long and listed a lot of relatives so I may run across your names later and will let you know.

I would be interested if you have anything on Cooks of Granville Ma between 1850 and 1900. Looking for obits mainly. First names of Erastus Lyman, Eunice Carpenter, Alice Wight and Amos Adonijah. thanks for any help.

Husband: Spencer L. Bronson

Let me know if Lizzie is in your lineage. Her husband Spencer remarried after her death and married C. Bertha (McGowan) Bronson, my gg aunt.
