Surnames: Bacon King Long / Longe Smith Harding
Ebenezer BACON, b. abt 1752 (son of John and Mary) moved to Charlton, Worcester, MA and owned land with or adjacent to his older brother, Daniel BACON. He appears to have married Anna LONG, in Charlton, on 2 Mar 1788. He can be found there in 1790 and 1800 census. At least two children were born to him in Charlton - Jonathan (b. 1791) and Elizabeth (b 1794). (According to the census records, it appears that he had only two living children.) By 1810 he is living in New Salem, MA, where an Elizabeth BACON marries Amos KING, 19 Sep 1811, and a Jonathan BACON marries Nabby SMITH, 6 May 1812, all at the New Salem Congregational Church, Rev. Alpheus HARDING officiating.
In 1820 Ebenezer is living in Petersham, MA, with his wife. He died there 25 Apr 1827.
I'd love to learn more about this family. Anyone out there with more to share?

Cynthia
