I know very little. The Murphy's were married about 1880 - I think in Ireland. Frances came to the US in 1888 with daughter Margaret (my g-grandmother) and lived in Boston, Mass area and Portland, Maine area(Her mother was Catherine Casey and her father was Cornelious Driscoll. Frances "Fannie" was born about 1860 (Aug). I wouldn't be surprised to find that both Michael and Frances either had family already here, or that family came after they arrived. Perhaps your friends have some family history that connects with mine - which would be wonderful. Mary
