Hi,
Well, I have not been able to find an obituary for him through the Newspaper databases available online through the library...but most papers don't go back that far. The Boston Globe goes back to 1980 online but no luck.
Bouncing back and for between Whitepages.com/People Search and US Public Records on Ancestry.com; it seems like some of his relatives might still be in Haverhill? I can't seem to get a listing but could his father have also been Anderson Pulliam? There is one listed in Haverhill age 84. Places he's lived and family members for him are:
Anderson Pulliam
84
Cornish, ME
Limington, ME
Groton, CT
Cranston, RI
New London, CT

E Pulliam
Craig E Pulliam
Richard L Pulliam
Tin Pulliam
Tina J Pulliam

Since your Anderson Pulliam was listed as born in CT; I would say this is probably his father, but all contact info for them seems to be unlisted. There is also an Anderson Pulliam, age 34, listed in Amesbury and Newbury, MA; which is pretty close to Haverhill.

There is a Richard L. Pulliam in Auburn, ME; and a Craig E. Pulliam in Pawtucket, RI. Craig is listed in Whitepages.com.

I have no idea whatsoever if I am on the right track; but it's sure worth a shot. I hope this helps you out.

Lisa

Hello, me again...
It looks like this would be his mother's obituary, below; so Richard and Craig are his brothers.
Strange, I've been on Rte. 25 in Limington. I know the area; had ancestors in the next town. Anyhow, it's possible his father is still in Limington. It's hard to tell. The way it comes up on White Pages, I searched for Pulliam in Haverhill, MA and that's all that it gave; his name and Haverhill, MA; then you click on that and it takes you to People Search, which listed all the other places he has lived. I will say this; Limington is such a small town that if you called the town office they probably know him; and if you wrote a letter addressed to him, Rte. 25 Limington, ME; it would probably reach him! I think I'd try calling Craig. He was the only one who seemed to be listed so you won't have to do a lot of explaining as to how you got his phone #.

I did a search and it seems you have been searching for several yrs now. I do not know why the Mass index seaarch does not come up only the SS. index. When you contacted the Fall River City Clerk did you mention the certificate no. 027883 ? Some times things get mixed up.I know it is very frustarting for you because it has to be somewhere. I wish you luck.

I am not an angel...but I am happy to help! I would still try calling the one in Rhode Island, was it Craig? I've read all the replies and your posts here and I would say it is probable that he is related. It seems an awfully big stretch of coincidence that Anderson in Limington, ME had a son Anderson who is named as having died one year off from the one you are looking for. The information provided to the funeral home for the obituary was provided by family members and so they probably just gave the wrong year. This is not a common name at all. Also, Mass. Death Index gives your Anderson Pulliam's birthplace as Connecticut; and the presumed father in Limington was listed as having lived in Connecticut. This seems all to much coincidence for me to believe this is not the same family. Why her father would lie about it is beyond me, but people can be pretty stupid sometimes. Or just sick and cruel. I wish you the best of luck in Fall River.

By the way, look on the death certificate for "informant" or something that might give a name of the person providing the information. I don't know if this will be on such a recetn death certificate though. Well, if his parents are named and they match the people in the obituary then we really know we have the right family!
