As I mentioned in a previous post, James Preston can be found in the Quaker records. These records dovetail with his marriages to Rebecca Unknown and Prissa Vinson Butler. These two wives can be found also in the Edgartown, Dukes, MA records compiled by Harriet Pease. I have a booklet published by Julia Presson Snyder who says James Preston/Presson was an Irish emigrant but she offers no documentation (she is since deceased). Are you interested in documentation of births, deaths, marriages in the Peter Preston descendancy?
