Hi I am looking for any info about a Spiritualist Church that once stood in New Bedford. My granfathers cousin who was born in Derbyshire England immigrated to New Bedford around 1910-1912 with her husband and daughters and their partners. Harriet Saxon (nee Wigley) and Wright Saxon had a lot to do with the Spiritualist Church in New Bedford around the 1920s and 30s. I believe it may have burnt down but have been told they once owned the church. Any help about this church, photo newspaper clippings or records woudl be gratefully received. I am told Harriet and Wright were very well respected in the community and Harriet was at one time a clairvoyant under the name Madame Saxon. Anyone willing to look this up for me would be a lifesaver.
