I am trying to verify some info on my Robinson line. My ancestor Isaiah Robinson is said to have been born in 1729 in Reheboth, married 1749 to Amy Chappell, and died in 1790.

His sons, Isaiah b. 1755 (my ancestor) and perhaps Noah b. abt. 1750 and others.

I have found information stating they are descended from Rev. John Robinson (pastor of the Pilgrims), but I have not been able to substantiate that link fully, let alone this father-son relationship.

I have not researched this time period much and am not sure where to start for Massachusetts. Any clues or connections?
