Hello,

I am looking for some help in locating any information on the Finnegan Family.

Edward Finnegan and Mary Norton Finnegan are my G. G. Grandparents. They resided in Tompkins, Delaware, N.Y. in 1870. They had 11 children all of whom were born in Deposit,NY. Their eldest child Margaret A Finnegan was born in 1853 in Deposit,NY.
Edward and Mary Norton Finnegan both were born in Ireland. I am not sure if they married in NY or Ireland.

In 1880, Mary and the children are residing in Williamstown,MA. Edward is not with the family. I am looking to see if I can find out when the family moved from NY to the Berkshires,MA and whether Edward died in NY or MA. He died between 1870 and 1880.

Mary and the children resided in Pittsfield,MA . Mary died 1900. Her children all married and raised their families in the Pittsfield,MA area.
