Thank you for all your work on the boards. I did notice on the marriage that I believe it is the one from Lee that they X'ed out most of the information (NEHGS). Is it possible that they had the wrong dates? Also, I tried to look for Charles's earlier family unit and kept striking out. I had the same problem when trying to help a friend who is part Sioux, black and white. Is it possible that he had either a brother or sister who had George and died and he either was officially or unofficially adopted by Charles and Nellie? Did you try to track Nellie before her marriage? Or George was born out of wedlock and the birth was never recorded.

Sorry I could not help, but I'll keep an eye open for you when researching others.
