Mrs. Lillian Brown

Mrs. Lillian R. Brown, 76, of 154 Francis Ave. died at the Berkshire Medical Center Monday evening (May 19th) following a long illness. She was born in Pittsfield on May 4, 1904, a daughter of the late Willard and Rose Plant Jenne. She was a communicant of Notre Dame Church.
She was employed by the Eaton Paper Co. for 15 years and briefly by the General Electric Co. She was a member of the Pittsfield Ass. for the Blind and the Bobby Kidney Sunshine Club and a former member of the Loyal Order of Moose Auxiliary. Her husband, Howard Brown, died in 1955.
Survivors include one son, Raymond F. Brown of Pittsfield: six sisters, Mrs. Eva Tremblay, Mrs. Lena Goggia, Mrs. Louise Grandbois, Mrs. Dorothy Rocheleau and Mrs. Arlene Rapkowicz, all of Pittsfield and Mrs. Anna Mae Rufo of Hancock: 10 grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. She also leaves Mrs. Mary Greenleaf MacKinnon and Raymond Greenleaf, both of Pittsfield, who she raised from early childhood.
The funeral will be Friday morning at 8:15 from the Bencivenga-Dagnoli Funeral Home, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 9 at Notre Dame Church. Burial will be in Pittsfield Cemetery.
Calling hours at the funeral home will be tomorrow from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9.
