PITTSFIELD -- Rita Lucille Hatch, 79, of 1417 North Mack Smith Road, Chattanooga, Tenn., formerly of Pittsfield, died July 8 at home.

Born in Pittsfield on June 5, 1920, daughter of John A. and Laura LePage Bordeleau, she attended local schools and graduated from Pittsfield High School in 1938. She moved to Chattanooga in 1990.

Mrs. Hatch was employed at the former England Brothers Department Store in Pittsfield for 12 years as an Este Lauder representative.

She leaves her husband, Charles G. Hatch, whom she married Nov. 9, 1940; two daughters, Mrs. Carole A. Miller of Dalton and Mrs. Jacquelyn L. Malczewski of Soddy Daisy, Tenn.; a son, Ronald C. Hatch of Little Rock, Ark.; three sisters, Mrs. Doris Russell of Binghamton, N.Y., Mrs. Marie Clayman of Hollywood, Calif., and Mrs. Irene LaHue of Hinsdale; a brother, Joseph B. Bordeleau of Pittsfield; four granddaughters, and a great-grandson.

FUNERAL NOTICE -- Funeral Services for Mrs. Rita L. Hatch, 79, formerly of Pittsfield, who died July 8, will be held Monday, July 19, at 11 a.m. at DERY FUNERAL HOME in Pittsfield, with the Rev. Deacon Pasqual Baldassaro of St. Agnes' Church, Dalton, officiating. Burial will follow in North Richmond Cemetery. Calling hours will be Monday morning at Dery Funeral Home from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Parkinson's Disease Foundation, William Black Medical Building, Columbia Presbyterian, 710 West 168th St., New York, NY 10032-9928. Mrs. Hatch is survived by her four granddaughters, Joanne Burgess, Joyce E. Miller, Nicole R. Longevin and Natalie A. Hatch; her great-grandson, Justin Fox, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three brothers, John A., Paul A. and Robert A. Bordeleau.
