I recently started posting and researching my family history on this site. When I started this I mistakenly took other users' family trees as always correct. Since finding an error in another user's family tree, I have begun double checking much of the data I had adopted. I have a John Burroughs in my tree that many user's have married to Ann Lewis Meriwether. They list her birthdate as 7 Jul 1785 and the date of her marriage varies. This has to be in error due to the fact that John Burrough died around 1736. His will mentions his wife Ann, but it can't be Ann Lewis Meriwether bor in 1785. If anyone has information that can clarify this discrepancy I would appreciate it. Also a tip to new user's like myself; Check the citations for other user's data before accepting it blindly.
